Job summary

CVUK is seeking a commercially driven Merchandiser to own a key product area within a leading UK fashion brand. Based at their brand-new, state-of-the-art headquarters in London, this role delivers ranges across retail, ecommerce and wholesale to maximise sales and margins.

You will analyse sales performance, collaborate with Buyers, manage stock and open-to-buy, and build seasonal range plans while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail merchandising
• Strong commercial awareness and passion for product
• Excellent analytical skills with advanced Excel knowledge
• Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator with ability to influence at all levels
• Highly organised and able to work at pace
• Degree in fashion, textiles or business desirable

Responsibilities

• Analyse sales performance to maximise sales and profit
• Maintain awareness of best and worst sellers; manage repeats and markdowns
• Partner with Buyers to manage critical path, stock, intake margins and open-to-buy
• Accurately maintain the Weekly Sales, Stock & Intake (WSSI) to KPIs
• Ensure balanced range architecture across channels
• Produce seasonal range plans with forward cover for best sellers
• Monitor competitor and market activity to inform strategy
• Build cross-functional relationships with Buying, Logistics, Finance and Retail
• Negotiate costs with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries
• Contribute to a positive team culture and working environment
