Zusammenfassung

SYSTRA is seeking a Senior Design Manager - MEPHFC to join the Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Discipline in West London. You will lead and coordinate design activity across interfaces, managing a team of design managers to meet program milestones.

Role requires rail project experience, strong leadership, and close collaboration with construction partners, suppliers and the client to ensure compliant, buildable, and install-ready designs.

Qualifikationen

• Educated to degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent professional membership.
• Experience on rail projects across London Underground, Network Rail, Crossrail and TFL.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Review and verify Consultant’s program and cost reporting relevant to MEPHFC.
• Timely resolution of interfaces between MEPHFC and other disciplines and work packages.
• Lead design management and delivery to support the schedule.
• Coordinate with Subcontractors on submissions, quality, interfacing and integration.
• Manage change resulting from maturing HS2 and Network Rail rail systems.
• Liaise with Client, Designers and Subcontractors on deliverables and approvals.
• Review submissions for quality, interfacing and completeness.
• Ensure constructability reviews are held prior to design submissions.
• Support Value Engineering opportunities through the approved process.
• Deliver design records / as-built information and verification milestones.
