Job summary

McLaughlin & Harvey is seeking an experienced MEP Site Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of mechanical and electrical works on large-scale projects in Bristol. You will manage sub-contractor packages, coordinate with civil, structural and architectural teams, and ensure compliance with safety and contractual requirements.

You will liaise with the project leadership to address out-of-scope works, review risk assessments, and manage permits, ITPs, snagging, and close-out processes to achieve

Qualifications

• CSCS / SMSTS qualified
• Valid driving licence
• Electrical and or Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Undertake the role of Temporary Works Coordinator (where applicable)

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality delivery of medium to large scale projects to budget and programme.
• Coordinate M&E sub-contractor packages on site and with Civils/Structural/Architectural teams.
• Liaise with Lead Building Services Manager, Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor on out-of-scope works.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety/CDM legislation and monitor ongoing safety.
• Review sub-contractor Method Statements / Risk Assessments and monitor compliance.
• Issue permits for M&E sub-contractors and other activities and close out accordingly.
• Check ongoing installation for contract compliance and raise NCRs for poor quality.
• Ensure ITPs are compiled, checked and closed out, and manage snagging until closure.
• Ensure installed works align with design intent and end user needs.
• Understand building contracts and key project stakeholders.
