Core Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead and deliver mechanical building services on commercial fit-out projects in Bristol. You will manage packages from pre-construction through to handover, coordinating HVAC, heating, ventilation and plumbing works on site with subcontractors and suppliers.

The role demands strong communication and leadership skills, the ability to manage budgets and programmes, and a proactive approach to health and safety to ensure

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within commercial fit-out or building services.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical installations and HVAC systems.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating site-based activities.
• Good understanding of project programmes, budgets, procurement, and commercial management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage mechanical building services packages from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Oversee site-based mechanical installations, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project programmes, budgets, procurement, and resources.
• Ensure all works meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, programme delays, and potential project risks.
• Manage variations, project costs, and subcontractor performance.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.
