Job summary

Bettys & Taylors Group in Harrogate seeks an experienced MEP Technical Services Manager to lead mechanical, electrical and plumbing services across its estate. The role focuses on safety, compliance, and efficiency while guiding strategic asset investments.

You will manage maintenance programmes, provide technical leadership during incidents, and collaborate with sustainability, health & safety, and operations teams to raise building performance and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in senior MEP, Technical Services, Facilities Management or Building Services.
• Qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing maintenance programmes, asset lifecycle planning and capital investment projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of MEP services across diverse property portfolio and ensure safety and compliance.
• Provide expert advice on MEP systems and oversee statutory compliance programmes.
• Support capital projects and shape long-term asset investment strategies.
• Develop and coach the MEP team; drive energy efficiency improvements and innovative tech adoption.
