Job summary

TClarke is recruiting MEP Quantity Surveyors from Assistant through Senior level for a major hyperscale data centre project in East London, just 15 minutes from the City. The role covers pre-construction to completion over ~3+ years with potential for up to 6 years in future phases.

You will manage MEP packages, procurement, valuations and risk, working within a structured commercial team on a high-profile project across data centre, commercial and life sciences sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience working on MEP / M&E projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Experience with valuations, variations and change control.
• Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain relationships.
• Good understanding of procurement and commercial processes.
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience across data centres, commercial, life sciences, healthcare or other technically complex projects would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical and/or electrical MEP packages.
• Procurement and subcontract package management.
• Preparing and managing valuations and applications for payment.
• Managing change control, variations and commercial risk.
• Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor applications and accounts.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and financial management.
• Managing contractual correspondence and commercial documentation.
• Working closely with project management, design and construction teams.
• Managing relationships with the client, consultants, subcontractors and supply chain.
• Supporting and agreeing final accounts.
• Identifying commercial opportunities and mitigating project risks.
