Senior MEP QA Manager – Hyperscale Data Centre Project

Job summary

TClarke is recruiting an experienced MEP Quality Assurance Manager for a major hyperscale data centre project in London. You will join the delivery team and drive QA/QC across the MEP package from preconstruction through handover.

With responsibility for developing the Quality Management Plan, ITPs and inspection processes, you will lead site inspections, audits and corrective actions in collaboration with Project Managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure compliance and high standards

Qualifications

• Experience in MEP QA/QC within major construction or MEP contracting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services installations.
• Experience developing and managing Quality Management Plans, ITPs and inspection processes.
• Experience carrying out site quality inspections and audits.
• Ability to review quality documentation and manage non-conformances.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage QA and QC across the MEP package.
• Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management Plan.
• Establish and manage ITPs, quality procedures and inspection processes.
• Carry out regular site inspections and audits of mechanical and electrical installations.
• Ensure works meet project specifications, drawings and client requirements.
• Review and manage quality documentation and reports.
• Identify issues and implement corrective actions with the project team.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and Construction Managers on quality improvements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain quality standards.
• Monitor close-out of quality documentation during construction.
• Support commissioning documentation and handover records.
• Attend project, coordination and quality meetings.
• Promote a proactive quality culture across the site and project team.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover and final close-out.
