Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor for a flagship data centre project in Northumberland. You will lead commercial management of major MEP packages, coordinating with delivery teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure value and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring senior QS experience on large-scale projects, strong contractual knowledge, and a proactive approach to cost control and procurement.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing major MEP packages on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial processes and procurement.
• Excellent cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial delivery of major MEP packages across the project lifecycle.
• Administer subcontract agreements, valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Prepare and manage procurement strategies for mechanical and electrical works.
• Produce accurate cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow analysis.
• Monitor budgets and identify opportunities to improve commercial performance.
• Assess and manage change events, variations and contractual claims.
• Collaborate with project delivery teams to achieve commercial objectives.
• Support risk management and cost control initiatives across the project.
