Job summary

Crown House Technologies, part of the Laing O'Rourke group, is recruiting a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on a major data centre project in Slough. The role focuses on cost management, forecasting and contract administration across MEP packages, with close collaboration to clients and supply chain partners.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and extensive QS experience in MEP/building services, with a track record on complex projects and

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying with preference for RICS membership
• Significant QS experience in MEP or building services projects
• Experience on complex MEP packages on large projects is desirable

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial activities across allocated MEP packages
• Cost management, forecasting, risk and opportunity
• Procurement, administration, change, valuations, accounts and claims
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts and MI
• Identify, price and manage change during delivery
• Provide commercial/ contractual advice to project team
• Monitor costs, commercial risks and governance
• Build relationships with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Guide and support junior commercial team members
