Job summary

Transport for London seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Mechanical - Pumps) to deliver maintenance and fault response for the Elizabeth Line network, supporting safe operation and high reliability. You will provide technical leadership and drive safety, compliance and performance across assets.

The role requires extensive railway standards knowledge, a Level 3 NVQ in Electro-technical Services (or Plumbing equivalent), a full UK driving licence, and hands-on experience with pumps,

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Electro-technical Services (Electrical Maintenance) or equivalent.
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Plumbing, JIB Graded Approved Electrician or Plumber in installation/maintenance.
• HND or equivalent; professional membership; Rail safety standards knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities, fault response, inspections and planned maintenance.
• Coordinate fault response and contractor oversight with safety as a priority.
