Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Mechanical & Electrical team on a major on-site project in Cambridge/Lakenheath. You will oversee pre-construction and construction activities on projects up to £45m MEP, ensuring safety, quality, time and budget targets while delivering value to customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and SMSTS qualification demonstrated or in progress.
• Strong knowledge of contract conditions and construction law.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to influence at all levels.
• High level of organisation and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, design/build processes and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities including procurement, installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety and environmental standards.
• Manage project delivery to agreed execution plans, oversee programmes, budgets and quality while maintaining client relationships.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring technical and safety competency and performance monitoring.
• Oversee design management, work with consultants and trade contractors to ensure timely information and drawings.
• Lead and develop the project team with a focus on wellbeing, inclusivity and clear accountability.
