Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Kier Mechanical & Electrical team on site for an exciting new project in the United Kingdom.

You’ll drive pre-construction and construction activities on projects valued up to £45m MEP, delivering safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while keeping clients and stakeholders satisfied. Responsibilities include leading day-to-day construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers,

Qualifications

• CSCS card and SMSTS qualification are required.
• Experience as a Project Manager with strong knowledge of contract conditions and construction law.
• Professional qualification or active membership of CIOB or RICS is desirable.
• Excellent communication, influencing, organisation and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities including procurement, installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety and environmental standards.
• Manage project delivery to execution plans, overseeing programmes, budgets and quality while maintaining client relationships.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring technical and safety competency and monitoring performance.
• Oversee design management with consultants and trade contractors to ensure timely information and drawings.
• Lead and develop the project team, fostering wellbeing, inclusivity and accountability.
