Job summary

Kier Group’s Kier Mechanical & Electrical team is seeking an MEP Project Director for roles based in London/Basingstoke. The role leads end-to-end delivery of major MEP packages on large construction projects, from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.

The position requires senior leadership across safety, programme, quality and commercial performance, with a strong focus on integration within the Kier “One Team” delivery model. Flexible hours may be available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional membership (e.g. CIBSE, IET, MCIOB, MRICS).
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-construction and delivery of large MEP work packages on complex construction projects (often £50m-£200m+ MEP value).
• Provide strategic leadership across design, commercial, planning, procurement, delivery and commissioning functions.
• Ensure MEP strategy, sequencing and programme align with the overall construction delivery plan.
• Take full accountability for safety, health and environment, quality, cost, programme and risk associated with MEP delivery.
• Act as the senior MEP interface with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and Kier construction leadership.
