Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Director to lead and deliver complex MEP projects from Bristol with a multidisciplinary team. You will guide design, oversee the production of detailed specifications and supervise engineers across mechanical, electrical and public health disciplines.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate with project teams and ensure compliance with UK regulations, while developing talent and expanding the Bristol office capabilities in healthcare and defence sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading projects in an MEP discipline with multidisciplinary coordination.
• Understanding UK/EU regulations relevant to the discipline and how to apply them in project execution.
• Ability to supervise and direct detailed designs and production of performance specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects for the MEP discipline and for the overall project team.
• Provide design and technical advice with a multidisciplinary approach on a wide range of projects.
• Supervise the completion of detailed designs and the work of others in this function.
• Direct production of detailed and performance specifications for the discipline.
• Review design programmes and ensure sufficient resources to complete the works.
• Lead feasibility studies for projects.
• Ensure alignment with client requirements and project delivery needs.
