Job summary

John Sisk & Son is recruiting a Senior Building Services Manager to deliver integrated MEP systems across major projects. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate design, testing and handover, and drive safety, sustainability and value throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing large-scale, complex MEP projects.
• Understanding of the MEP supply chain and market dynamics.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Lifecycle competence across estimating, pre-construction, installation, commissioning, handover.
• Commercial and contractual awareness in MEP project management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, quality, sustainability and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance in applying building services management systems.
• Support Building Services strategy aligned with safety, quality, sustainability and partnerships.
• Oversee MEP delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
• Guide tendering, procurement and award of MEP packages.
• Coordinate temporary electrical requirements with energy assessments and sustainability considerations.
• Lead planning and integration of MEP works into overall project programme.
• Engage with utility providers and stakeholders to meet interfaces.
• Review and approve coordinated drawings and builder’s work requirements.
• Implement processes for equipment and plant tracking through approvals, delivery and testing.
• Mitigate programme, contractual and commercial risks proactively.
• Drive quality management, inspections, snagging and sign-off of installations.
• Oversee safe management of live energy systems per guidelines.
• Develop inspection, testing, commissioning and handover plans.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
• Promote Sisk’s values and strengthen client/supply chain relationships.
• Oversee safety files and soft landings processes.
