Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment partners with a London-based multidisciplinary construction consultancy to recruit an Associate Building Services Design Engineer. You will join the Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health team and work across commercial, retail, education and health sectors, delivering high-quality MEP solutions.

You will lead technical design, mentor junior engineers and support project bids while liaising with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and drive successful

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng (Hons) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering required.
• MSc/MEng preferred; professional membership (CIBSE) advantageous.
• Interest in sustainability and net zero concepts.
• Demonstrable understanding of MEP systems in buildings.
• Full clean driving licence; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of MEP design packages.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop team output.
• Collaborate with Architects, Surveyors and other professionals.
• Prepare designs and construction specifications; support bids.
• Undertake site visits for surveys and commissioning oversight.
• Contribute to energy analysis, thermal modelling and energy-saving initiatives.
