Job summary

Beeby Anderson Recruitment is partnering with a growing mechanical services consultancy to appoint a Mechanical Associate in London. The role leads mechanical, electrical and public health design delivery for high-profile projects across the built environment, working with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders.

You will oversee a talented engineering team, drive technical excellence, and contribute to the long-term growth and leadership of the practice in a collaborative SME setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Significant experience within a building services design consultancy, ideally in a leadership or senior project delivery position.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept through to completion.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
• Excellent leadership, communication and team collaboration skills.
• Strong technical understanding of UK building services design standards and regulations.
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex and challenging projects across multiple sectors.
• Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary MEP design teams through all project stages.
• Provide technical leadership and maintain high standards of engineering quality.
• Build strong client relationships and support the development of repeat business opportunities.
• Oversee commercial performance and project delivery.
• Mentor and support the development of engineers within the team.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and continuous improvement of the business.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership in shaping the future growth of the team and wider business.
