Job summary

SCS JV (SCS Railway) is seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead the on-site delivery for the HS2 London Tunnels package. You will manage resources, drive programmes, and ensure safe, compliant delivery across MEP works, liaising with clients, designers and JV partners.

Ideal candidates will have extensive MEP rail experience, CSCS and SMSTS qualifications, and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and to budget. Strong leadership and safety culture are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health systems on large Rail projects.
• Experience in procurement, construction, commissioning and handover of MEP works.
• Knowledge of design, construction and testing regulations (BS 7671, Building Regs).

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and lead the Supply chain construction team to optimise performance.
• Develop, review programmes and forecast budgets, report weekly variances to the MEP Asset Delivery Manager.
• Ensure only competent, qualified operatives work on site and communicate with QA and commercial teams.
• Produce daily progress reports and monitor project costs.
• Develop construction phase plans for M&E works and interface with stakeholders.
