Job summary

WSP is seeking a skilled CAD/BIM engineer to model 3D MEP systems using Bentley MicroStation and OpenBuildings, producing 2D sections for drawings and layout. You will drive CAD modelling from feasibility through detailed design to hand-back, maintaining industry standards.

You will coordinate with other design disciplines to ensure clash-free designs and maximise data exchange within a Common Data Environment, while mentoring junior engineers and supporting design reviews for Rail and civil

Qualifications

• Experience with Bentley MicroStation, OpenBuildings and ProjectWise.
• Understanding of BIM and working within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Experience with offshore CAD/BIM resources is valuable.
• Affinity for Microsoft applications and VBA/macros is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Model 3D MEP services using Bentley MicroStation and OpenBuildings.
• Produce 2D sections from 3D models for drawings and layouts.
• CAD modelling through feasibility to detailed design per standards.
• Coordinate design with disciplines to ensure clash-free outputs.
• Support engineering reviews and mentor junior staff.
