Job summary

SES Technology in Sunderland is seeking an experienced MEP Bid Manager to lead end-to-end bid processes for data centres and advanced manufacturing projects. You will coordinate capture planning, solution development, quality responses, pricing and client presentations, shaping a clear, winning narrative.

You will work with cross‑functional teams across the business to align governance and deliver a joined‑up bid strategy for UK opportunities.

Qualifications

• Solid bid management experience in the MEP sector.
• Experience bidding data centre projects or similar complex environments.
• Ability to turn technical ideas into compelling client offers.
• Ability to lead end-to-end bid processes across capture planning, solution, pricing and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all elements of the bid process from early engagement through to final submission.
• Shape the narrative to highlight client priorities and our methodology.
• Coordinate inputs from commercial, operational and technical teams to present a joined‑up story.
• Support governance during PCSA / ECI periods for projects up to circa £150m.
• Travel to and from other offices to support bids and meet customers.
