We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Practitionerto join our Mental Health team atHMP Gartree, a category BPrison located in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.

Hours

This a part-time role working 30 hours per week (7.5 hours a day, 4 days per week)

Monday to Friday - core working hours (8 - 6).

There is flexibility as to which days you would like to work.

Salary

You'llreceive an annual salary up to £47,466per annum FTE- depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Be responsible for assessment and caseload management of thosereferred into Mental health services
• Support your team to carry out comprehensive assessments, confidentlycommunicating treatment options and initiating supportive care plans, working with individuals on a 1-2-1 basis alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team.
• You will model a culture of compassion, care,courage, commitment, communication and competence.
• Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Social Worker/ Occupational Therapist with NMC,HCPC or SWE
• Good IT skills and IT literacy
• Ability to work within a busy environment
• Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
