Job summary

Cancer Research UK is recruiting a Senior Business Development Executive for MedTech & Diagnostics to lead a team of Business Managers and drive collaborations across academia, biotech and pharma. The role focuses on developing commercial and IP strategies, licensing, and partnerships to deliver strategic objectives.

You will report to the Associate Director, BD and Alliance Management, shaping business strategy while collaborating across Cancer Research Horizons and CRUK to maximise patient

Qualifications

• BSc in life sciences; 5+ years business development and/or commercialisation experience in MedTech or diagnostics.
• Experience in MedTech, diagnostics and/or biomarker development and commercialisation (oncology preferred).
• Proven ability to structure complex commercial contracts and negotiate successfully.
• Ability to report technical concepts clearly and develop strategic business plans based on data.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BD strategies for MedTech & Diagnostics across CRH and CRUK.
• Lead BD/AM teams; provide direction, performance reviews and manage delivery of objectives.
• Identify and develop collaborations with academic and commercial partners; build licensing opportunities.
• Lead new project activities, build partnerships, and drive portfolio strategy.
• Influence internal and external stakeholders to advance commercial and IP strategies.
