Job summary

Spencer Ogden, a leading global project and cost management consultancy, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead a flagship data centre programme in the UK. You will drive delivery, governance and stakeholder engagement across all lifecycle stages on a £1.5bn project.

Ideal candidates will have senior delivery experience on large-scale builds, strong commercial acumen and MRICS/MAPM/MCIOB-style qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects as a Senior Project Manager.
• Degree level qualification or equivalent; professional membership such as MRICS/MAPM/MCIOB is advantageous.

I'm currently representing a leading global project and cost management consultancy in the search for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a £1.5bn hyperscale data centre project in the South East, working within a high-performing consultancy team on a landmark development that will shape the UK's digital infrastructure.

The Opportunity

• Lead the successful delivery of a major data centre project valued at approximately £1.5bn
• Manage projects through all phases, from planning and procurement to construction and handover
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders
• Drive programme, cost, quality and risk management across the project lifecycle
• Work within a collaborative, market-leading consultancy delivering complex, high-value projects
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering large-scale construction projects
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience within data centres, mission-critical, industrial, infrastructure or major build projects is highly desirable
• Excellent commercial awareness and project governance experience
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) with professional membership such as MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or similar advantageous
