King and Moffatt is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale projects on time and within budget. You will manage mechanical design, submittals, labour tracking, and progress reporting while coordinating with main contractors and client teams.

The role requires oversight of plant/equipment, materials, and commissioning plans, plus experience supervising teams and ensuring successful handovers and site processes.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification is preferred.
• Experience supervising project teams and coordinating subcontractors.

Responsabilidades

• Attend project start-up meetings and manage mechanical aspects to deliver on time and within budget.

• Manage labour tracker and weekly progress reporting.
• Coordinate with main contractors and the client-based site team.
• Oversee delivery of project plant and equipment and ensure material availability.
• Plan and implement commissioning programmes on site.
• Manage K&M handover process and document management system.
• Schedule project activities and attend meetings with Sub Contractors as required.
• Participate in general site meetings and action points raised.

Job Description:

• Attend project start up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects, delivering the project, on time and within budget.
• Familiarise yourself with all details and specifications of the project.
• Collate technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and followed through until approval.
• Manage labour tracker.
• Maintain Progress Report weekly, reporting and managing any changes/variations.
• Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
• Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
• Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project.
• Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place for the job and implement the commission plan on site.
• Manage K&M handover process and maintain K&M Document Management System.
• Project specific scheduling.
• Attend meetings as required with Sub Contractors to ensure on time delivery.
• Attend general site meetings and action any points raised.
• Communicate any innovative project specific works to Contracts Manager (R&D)

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role
• Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects
• Qualification in Construction/Project Management is preferred
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Experience of supervising teams
