Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical installations on site in the UK. You will drive project scope, budgets and timelines, coordinating with contractors and the client site team to deliver successful outcomes.

The role requires extensive mechanical project management experience, a proven track record on large projects, and supervisory capability.

Qualifications

• Extensive mechanical project management experience on large-scale projects.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred.
• Experience supervising teams.

Responsibilities

• Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects, delivering on time and within budget.
• Familiarise yourself with all details and specifications of the project.
• Collate technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and followed through until approval.
• Maintain Progress Report weekly, reporting and managing any changes/variations.
• Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
• Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
• Ensure materials are available to complete the project.
• Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place and implement the plan on site.
• Manage K&M handover process and maintain the Document Management System.
• Attend meetings with Sub Contractors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Attend general site meetings and action points raised.
• Communicate innovative project-specific works to Contracts Manager (R&D).
