Job summary

Caddy Group Limited invites a Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical building services across Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Residential and Public sectors from initial planning to handover. You will manage HVAC, pipework and plantroom installations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects run safely, on time and within budget.

You’ll oversee procurement, programming and cost control, while maintaining client relationships and ensuring RAMS and CDM compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E, Building Services or Construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, heating, ventilation, pipework and mechanical plant installations.
• Experience managing mechanical projects from initial planning through to completion.
• Good understanding of project programming, procurement and commercial management.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion.
• Overseeing mechanical installations, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, pipework and plantroom systems.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, engineers and site teams.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, procurement and resources.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including CDM 2015 and RAMS.
• Reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Managing commercial activities, including cost control, variations and forecasting.
• Attending site meetings and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Overseeing quality control, testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Managing works within live and operational environments while minimising disruption.
