Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical for Data Centres in Ireland and the UK. You will own design delivery from concept to completion, leading HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, fire protection and piping system design across mission-critical data centre projects.

The role requires 8+ years in building services, with 3+ years in data centres, a Mechanical Engineering degree, and Chartered status or progress towards Chartership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building services experience.
• 3+ years in data centre or mission-critical environments.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and specification of HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, fire protection and piping systems.
• Manage large and medium-scale data centre projects, including scope, budgets and resources.
• Act as key client contact, liaising with contractors and vendors.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive quality assurance and innovation.
