Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior to Associate Mechanical Engineer for data centres in Glasgow or Edinburgh, with a focus on mechanical distribution and MEP coordination within a fast-paced Mission Critical Facilities team.

You will design mechanical systems from CHW to LTHW, provide client advice, and lead the design of data centre facilities while coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams. The role requires UK vetting clearance and Chartered status or working towards it.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing mechanical systems for data centres.
• Understanding of UK/EU regulations and design guides.
• Proficiency with 3D design tools (RevitMEP, AutoCAD).
• Ability to lead and mentor within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical distribution designs for CHW, HVAC, Fuel and LTHW.
• Lead the design of data centre mechanical systems and equipment.
• Produce technical specifications and system calculations for tender and delivery.
• Monitor installation to ensure compliance with design and safety codes.
• Coordinate with Architect and Structural teams and other disciplines.
