Job summary

ARC Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee a range of commercial projects along the A12 corridor, Ipswich. The role focuses on large plant rooms, MOJ buildings and government facilities, with projects from £50,000 up to £2 million.

You'll manage projects from planning through to commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence, in the commercial and public sector environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services.
• Strong understanding of commercial mechanical installations and plant room projects.
• Experience managing projects from small works through to large schemes.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical building services projects from inception through to completion.
• Overseeing programmes, budgets, procurement and subcontractor performance.
• Coordinating site teams, engineers, suppliers and other trades.
• Managing installation works, with a focus on large plant rooms and mechanical systems.
• Ensuring health and safety, quality standards and contractual requirements are met.
• Monitoring project costs, variations and progress against programme.
• Maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Managing commissioning, snagging and final handover.
