Job summary

TGS International Group is seeking a Mechanical Lead to assume technical ownership of the mechanical engineering function across major data centre and mission-critical projects. You will lead design strategy from concept to handover and act as the senior technical authority for mechanical and cooling systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) preferred through CIBSE or IMechE.
• Experience in data centres / mission-critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction and design standards for mechanical systems in data centres.
• Review and challenge engineering solutions across multiple projects.
• Lead senior engineering teams and mentor engineers.
• Drive energy and water efficiency, PUE/WUE optimisation across projects.
• Coordinate with electrical, BMS/EPMS and specialists.
