You will collaborate with pre-construction, design and project teams to review drawings, pricing and tender docs, while identifying value engineering opportunities and maintaining supplier

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanical estimator or senior estimator.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services.
• Experience estimating commercial building services projects.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and tender docs.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and tenders from enquiry to submission.
• Review drawings, specs, schedules and tender docs.
• Cost materials, labour, plant and subcontractors accurately.
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify risks, exclusions and commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate with pre-construction, design and project teams.
• Attend tender meetings and site visits when required.
• Maintain estimating records and support handover to project team.
