Job summary

Envirogen Group UK Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of multi-million-pound water and wastewater projects. You will lead advanced system design from concept through execution, mentor the engineering team, and ensure robust governance of documents and BOMs.

You will specify equipment, perform hydraulic calculations, and work with vendors to secure cost and labour estimates for commercial proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil Engineering.
• Proven track record in industrial water, wastewater, or fluid processing industries.
• Highly organized, self-directed, problem-solver with strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design of multi-million-pound treatment systems from concept to execution.
• Mentor and develop core engineering team to high standards of technical excellence.
• Review and approve critical project documents, P&IDs, drawings, electrical schematics and BOMs.
• Specify high-performance equipment, hydraulic calculations, pump design and valve/instrumentation specs.
• Support sales with accurate cost and labour estimates for proposals.
• Collaborate with vendors through RFQs, technical data sheets and data-driven procurement decisions.
• Lead customer- and vendor-facing reviews with cross-functional teams for successful delivery.
