AtkinsRéalis is seeking Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineers to join our Derby office and lead the design and substantiation of high‑integrity mechanical equipment for UK nuclear projects. You will work across reactor operations, decommissioning and new build programmes, embedded with client teams as needed.

You will guide delivery, manage timescales, keep stakeholders informed, and ensure right‑first‑time outcomes across cost and quality, benefiting from our flexible hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Experience leading mechanical engineering projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate with delivery teams and clients.
• Proven track record in delivering complex mechanical systems on time and budget.
