Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical to drive retrofit data centre projects across Europe from its UK base. You will lead design, specification and delivery of mechanical systems, ensuring operations stay live and safe while delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in building services engineering with 3+ years in data centre projects.
• Experience working in live data centre environments including brownfield upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of mechanical building services upgrades in live data centre environments.
• Develop retrofit design strategies with live system tie-ins, outages, and resilience planning.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors across Europe.
