Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Buildings & Places sector, focusing on data centre design and delivery from our London office. You will lead mechanical engineering projects within multidisciplinary teams across the EMEA region, driving technical excellence and scalable solutions for hyperscale and co-location clients.

As a technical leader, you’ll mentor teams, coordinate across geographies, and contribute to thought leadership and strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex data centre facilities for technology clients.
• Ability to lead technical teams and collaborate across geographies.
• Strong understanding of permitting, building systems, regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Proven track record with multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
