Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer with Construction Administration experience to join our Buildings & Places sector, focusing on data centre design and delivery. You will lead mechanical engineering projects within multidisciplinary teams and represent our practice across the EMEA region.

As a strategic role, you will drive thought leadership, collaborate across geographies, and help strengthen our position in hyperscale and co-location markets while benefiting from a hybrid

Qualifications

Chartered Engineer or Architect qualification or equivalent professional credential.
Experience leading data centre design and/or project management.
Must have Construction Administration experience and ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong knowledge of permitting processes, building systems, and construction methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical engineering projects within multidisciplinary data centre teams.
Represent and grow AECOM's data centre practice across the EMEA region.
Manage multiple projects and coordinate across geographies and stakeholders.
Contribute to thought leadership and strategic growth in hyperscale and co‑location markets.
