Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join the Building Services (MEP) team in Manchester or Leeds. You will lead multidisciplinary projects from concept through detailed design, engaging with clients and guiding delivery.

The role focuses on sustainable building services design, BIM-enabled workflows using Revit and IES, and mentoring junior engineers within a collaborative, flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Proven background in Building Services design within a consultancy.
• Experience across healthcare and/or education sectors preferred.
• Proficiency with BIM processes including Revit and IES.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary (MEP) projects from concept to detailed design.
• Manage project team, resources, programme and budget to deliver outputs.
• Produce required design calculations and deliverables to standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and support chartership routes.
