Job summary

AECOM in the Midlands is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead and grow our Building Services team on diverse projects. The role focuses on delivering high-quality mechanical designs for mid-large schemes, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring alignment with budgets and schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a Building Services degree, experience across sectors, and be chartered or working toward chartership.

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Services design, including developing detailed design drawings and calculations.
• Ability to deliver on time and on budget while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Candidate should have client-facing experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support mid-large projects from concept to handover.
• Manage the mechanical design delivery from concept through completion.
• Attend project and client meetings on behalf of AECOM.
• Prepare planning, design, and feasibility reports.
