AECOM Manchester is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer with strong design experience in building services. You will lead the MEP design, manage your own work within a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the highest levels of client service.

The role requires solid consultancy experience, excellent English communication, and the ability to inspire and negotiate with clients. You will work in a dynamic, hybrid environment with opportunities to apply digital design tools and drive innovative

Qualifications

Experience in design and delivery of Building Services projects.
Ability to lead own discipline and mentor engineers.
Strong client communication and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

Take a key role representing AECOM on MEP projects leading your own discipline and also managing engineers of a complementary discipline.
Complete detailed designs and supervise the work of others in this function.
Demonstrate good attention to detail and show pride in the work produced.
Mentor and assist with the development of junior engineers.
Coordinate tasks to meet deadlines and manage project finances.
Experience with digital design tools and parametric design principles.
