Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, machinery or project engineering environments.
• Mechanical design experience with bespoke equipment or engineered products.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software.
• Experience producing technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Understanding of Design for Manufacture (DfM).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials and fabrication methods.
• Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical designs, 3D models, drawings and documentation.
• Support projects through concept, detailed design and manufacturing phases.
• Apply Design for Manufacture (DfM) to deliver practical solutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, project and engineering teams through delivery.
• Support design reviews, calculations and problem-solving activities.
• Contribute to bespoke machinery and engineered solutions development.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers as required.
