At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at either our Warrington or Leicester sites.

The role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, applying your process, domain knowledge, and experience.

You'll assist in managing customer relationships, ensuring procedures, codes, and standards are correctly applied, and contributing to safety assessments and risk management.

Responsibilities include producing and reviewing calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and technical reports.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based in Warrington or Leicester, with hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days remote).

Essential experience

• Open to all engineering backgrounds; nuclear experience not required
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
• Proven ability to handle diverse tasks of varying complexity
• Good communication skills

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent with significant experience

Security Clearance
