At Cavendish Nuclear, we're working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at either our Warrington or Leicester site.

The role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities, applying your process, domain knowledge, and experience.

You will:

• Manage customer relationships and liaise with clients.
• Ensure procedures, codes, and standards are correctly applied.
• Contribute to Project Safety Assessment processes.
• Communicate and manage project risks.
• Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, and reports.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based in Warrington or Leicester, with a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Essential Experience:

• Open to all engineering backgrounds; nuclear experience not required.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams on various projects.
• Proven ability to handle tasks of varying complexity.
• Strong communication skills and interdisciplinary interfacing.

Qualifications:

• Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience.
