Job summary

Veolia in Manchester is seeking a Senior Team Leader to head a team of mechanical engineers and fitters across multiple sites. You will supervise asset overhauls, complex repairs and installations of dewatering equipment, pumps and valves, while ensuring site safety and regulatory compliance.

A strong leadership track record in industrial settings is essential. You will coordinate with customers and subcontractors, manage permits, and drive energy-efficient operation and reduced downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial environment and leading mechanical installations.
• Proven track record in asset replacement and maintenance of water/sewage treatment equipment.
• Valid UK Driving License and Compex certification; SSSTS/CSCS and safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of mechanical engineers and fitters across multiple sites.
• Carry out complex asset overhauls, replacements, repairs and modifications to dewatering equipment, pumps, valves and pipework.
• Supervise on-site activities, coordinate with customers and subcontractors, and ensure safety paperwork and permits are in place.
