Veolia ES Hampshire Limited in Basingstoke is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform planned and reactive maintenance on the Energy Recovery Facility and associated site equipment. You will diagnose mechanical faults, carry out repairs, and support safe plant operation alongside the operations team.

The role requires an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, with hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and fault rectification.

• Welding and fabrication skills would be desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on plant, machinery and site equipment.
• Maintaining and repairing equipment including hydraulic and steam systems, cranes, conveyors.
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs to minimise plant downtime.
• Completing routine maintenance activities, inspections, and defect rectification.
• Reporting plant defects and contributing to improvements to plant and equipment.
• Using workshop tools including drilling machines, lathes and bench-fitting tools.
• Carrying out welding and fabrication activities when required.
• Working in line with Veolia’s Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Systems.
