Job summary

NG Bailey in Glasgow is seeking a mechanically biased Senior Project Manager to lead a multi-million pound industrial and commercial project on the outskirts of Glasgow. This permanent role offers a competitive salary, car or car allowance, and flexible benefits.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of the project from bid to completion, ensuring safety, technical excellence and customer satisfaction, while driving profitability through effective leadership and collaboration with subcontractors

Qualifications

• Demonstrable mechanical building services experience in a similar role within a construction environment.
• Experience with full lifecycle management of high value projects.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety message is visible and alive across all project activities.
• Participate in bid activities to ensure profitable, professional bids.
• Lead pre-commencement activities.
• Maximise opportunities, efficiency and profitability in the delivery phase.
• Review scope of works and installation methods to meet customer requirements.
• Identify and manage risks.
• Lead the team including specialist sub-contractors through all stages.
• Engage in business strategy and support company communications.
• Lead contract reviews and prepare project reports.
• Prepare and update business plans with the Commercial Director.
• Develop and maintain positive long-term customer relationships.
