Job summary

NG Bailey is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Glasgow team on a permanent basis. You will implement best commercial practices to improve profitability on medium to large projects, lead and mentor the survey team, and manage contract terms and cash flow. Applicants must be able to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• English and Maths GCSE or equivalent.
• Relevant BSc/degree or equivalent, or willingness to work towards it.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
• Review and interpret contract terms, identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and payment submissions.
• Monitor costs and revenue throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate final account settlements with the Commercial Manager.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Assist in procurement and management of subcontractors.
