Theodore Harrison is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead the mechanical design for education projects in Liverpool, delivering surveys and designs that comply with CIBSE guidance. You will shape the local team, coordinate resources, and grow client relationships across the North West.

Qualifications

• Senior mechanical engineer with leadership experience in education projects.
• Experience delivering mechanical design and technical delivery from surveys to designs.
• Experience carrying out condition surveys and costed recommendations.
• Working knowledge of CIBSE guidance and design standards.
• Client-facing experience as technical lead.
• Based in or near Liverpool with driving licence for travel across the North West.
• Education or public sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and technical delivery across education projects.
• Help decide how the work is resourced, contribute to tenders and frameworks.
• Coach junior engineers and seek repeat work with clients.
• Build a Liverpool team as workload grows.
• Collaborate with existing mechanical/electrical team to support peak workload.
