Theodore Harrison Ltd is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead the mechanical design and delivery for education projects in Liverpool. You will manage surveys with costed recommendations, ensure designs comply with CIBSE guidance, and shape how work is resourced and tendered.

The role offers a route to building a Liverpool team as the practice grows. Based near Liverpool with a full driving licence, you will collaborate with an existing electrical team, lead client discussions as the

• HNC/HND or degree in mechanical or building services engineering.
• Mechanical building services design experience.
• Experience carrying out condition surveys and producing costed recommendations.
• Working knowledge of CIBSE guidance and design standards.
• Client-facing experience and comfortable acting as the technical lead.
• Based in or near Liverpool with a full driving licence for travel across the North West.
• Education or public sector experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead mechanical design and technical delivery across education projects, from surveys with costs attached, through to designs that stand up to CIBSE guidance.
• Decide how the work is resourced, bring experience to tenders and frameworks, coach junior engineers, and look for repeat work and new openings with clients.
• As the workload builds, there’s a route to leading a Liverpool team of your own.
