Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to own the design of bespoke machinery and automated production line solutions for a high-volume FMCG operation. You will lead projects from concept through detailed design, manufacture, installation and commissioning, using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Collaborate with engineering, production and suppliers to deliver robust, cost-efficient equipment and improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in mechanical design for manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to deliver bespoke machinery and automated production line solutions.
• Strong understanding of design for manufacture and production processes.
• Experience leading multiple projects from concept to installation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design and development of new machinery and lines.
• Take ownership from concept through to manufacture, installation and commissioning.
• Design modifications and upgrades to improve performance and reliability.
• Produce detailed 3D models, 2D drawings and BOMs, with robust documentation.
