You will own projects from concept through prototype, testing, and on-car validation, collaborating across disciplines and guiding others to optimise space and interfaces with the transmission and power unit.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on design of hydraulic and pneumatic subsystems within the powertrain.
• Experience selecting pumps, valves, actuators and packaging within tight spaces.
• Degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Aerospace with motorsport or aerospace background.

Aufgaben

• Lead concept, design, and detailing of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components across powertrain and chassis.
• Design and integrate gearbox hydraulic systems, including actuation, lubrication, and control circuits.
• Perform stress, flow, and sizing calculations with clear supporting documentation.
• Conduct design reviews independently or with the Principal Engineer and Head of Department.
• Take end-to-end ownership of projects from design through manufacture, testing, and on-car validation.
• Support design checking and peer reviews to ensure performance specs are met.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
